This adorable little pendant is called the "Arita" because it was produced in Arita, Japan. It is adorned with a plum blossom, reflecting an ancient Oriental theme. The plum tree is a traditional subject in both China and Japan. The white or pale pink flower is a symbol of purity and rejuvenation. This piece is clad in 24kt gold. It comes with a simple gold chain and offers the option to include a Danbury Mint pouch and a certificate of authenticity.
